DVD disc compatibility to your DVD player
Advanced Studios requires you to identify your DVD player brand and model number when you
Place your order so we can determine the DVD type compatibility for your player. If you have not provided this information and you experience compatibility issues, you will need to send your DVDs back to us for re-formatting. At that point we will re-burn your DVDs in a different format that is more compatible with your player. You will be charged $10 per copy that is required. You will also be required to pay any return postage of your new DVDs before they are sent back to you.
However, if your DVD player’s brand and model number is specified when you order and the disc(s) are incompatible, we will re-burn your DVDs at no additional cost to you, and you will not be required to pay for return shipping of the new DVDs.
You should be aware that recordable discs working in your DVD player may or may not work in other players. You can obtain compatibility information by checking your DVD player’s service/instruction book or by contacting your equipment re-seller or manufacturer.

Advanced Studios Requires a 50% deposit of the total cost prior to the work commencing.

Post Production
The editing duration is between 3 to 6 months for a draft video to be complete and sent to the customer. Due to any excessive or un-predicted amount of bookings during the peak wedding season the editing process may take up to a total of 8 months, Advanced Studios will notify the customer if this occurs, and will advise the customer with a estimated draft project completion date. Once the customer is happy with the draft the customer notifies Advanced Studios that they are ready for the video to be published. The publish version takes between 1 to 8 weeks to be completed and sent, this duration will depend on the amount of changes wanted by the customer.
The customer is entitled to make any changes with their project, the maximum amount the customer is entitled to before payment is required is two requests and as many changes as they would like within the two requests. If the customer requires anymore changes to their project after the two request s then a cost will be involved and Advanced studios will quote the cost that is required for anymore changes requested by the customer. Any request to make changes to the draft needs to be in writing and sent to Advanced Studios within 2 weeks of receiving the Draft copy. Once the customer notifies Advanced Studios that they are happy with the draft and they are ready for their published version the customer cannot request for anymore changes to be made to the project unless they would like to pay for the changes, in this case the customer must request in writing to Advanced Studios that they require a quote for the new changes to be made, Advanced Studios will then quote the new changes and charge the customer appropriately according to the amount of work involved.

If the customer is not satisfied with the quality of their project, then the customer is required to notify the reason in writing to Advanced Studios, Advanced Studios will the endeavour to investigate the complaint and fix the problem or the quality fault , if the fault cannot be fixed then Advanced Studios will replace the faulty video clip with a different clip, if the quality fault is the DVD or the cover providing that the fault is not caused by the customer, Advanced Studios will replace the faulty DVD or cover, It is the customers responsibility for the compatibility of the DVD to their DVD player, please read the DVD disc compatibility to your DVD player terms and conditions at the start of this page. The quality of the video camera footage is as shown to the customer with our sample DVD, it is the customers responsibility to make sure there is adequate lighting for the quality of the video in each venue, Advanced Studios will provide a small camera light but it is advised that each venue has good sufficient lighting provided by the customer, Advanced Studios can supply lighting at the request of the customer one month before the project date at an additional cost to the quote. The sound quality is as shown on the Advanced Studios sample DVD. If there is a quality fault that’s Advanced Studios cannot fix or replace with equivalent, Advanced Studios will reimburse the customer with an amount that justifies the fault that will be determined by Advanced Studios . A percentage process is used to determine the cost of the refund made by Advanced Studios.
Deposit
A 50% Deposit is required for any silver package bookings A 40% Deposit is required for any gold or diamond package bookings. Deposits are not refunded for change of mind, as noted on the Quotation, form By sending Advanced studios money through EFT you are accepting and agreeing to these terms and conditions. The deposit secures your position and stops Advanced Studios from giving your wedding date to another customer, in this case Advanced Studios requires to keep the deposit for reimbursement of losing another potential customer if you decide to cancel . The deposit also pays for equipment hire and administration charges.
Copyrights and Video footage rights.
Advanced Studios holds the rights to all and any footage filmed by Advanced Studios staff and contractors, if the customer wishes the rights for the footage filmed by Advanced Studios they must put the request in writing to Advanced Studios and payment is required for the rights determined by Advanced Studios. Advanced Studios may used any footage filmed for promotional purposes, Advanced Studios dose not sell video footage to third parties without the customers written consent. Advanced Studios is not responsible for any lost or stolen footage used by a third party. Advanced Studios is not responsible for promotional footage being misused by anyone. Any Advanced Studios video footage and promotional videos and customers project video footage MUST NOT BE reused, copied, broadcasted, misused, used for advertising purposes without the written consent by Advanced Studios Managing Director.
Advanced Studios Web Site Agreement
The Advanced Studios Web Site (the "Site") is an online information service provided by Advanced Studios ("Advanced Studios "), subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions set forth below. PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING OR USING THE SITE. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH BELOW. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU MAY NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SITE. 4. Third Party Rights.
The provisions of paragraphs 2 (Use of the Service), and 3 (Indemnification) are for the benefit of Advanced Studios and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers, and any third party information providers to the Service. Each of these individuals or entities shall have the right to assert and enforce those provisions directly against you on its own behalf.
5.Term; Termination.
This Agreement may be terminated by either party without notice at any time for any reason. The provisions of paragraphs 1 (Copyright, Licenses and Idea Submissions), 2 (Use of the Service), 3 (Indemnification), 4 (Third Party Rights) and 6 (Miscellaneous) shall survive any termination of this Agreement.
6. Miscellaneous.
This Agreement shall all be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia applicable to agreements made and to be performed in Australia. You agree that any legal action or proceeding between Advanced Studios and you for any purpose concerning this Agreement or the parties' obligations hereunder shall be brought exclusively in a federal or state court of competent jurisdiction sitting in Australia . Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the Service must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises or such claim or cause of action is barred. Advanced Studios's failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any provision of this Agreement. Advanced Studios may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to you.
